When looking at shoes we are looking at 3 things: Density, Stack Height, and Weight. These three things help us determine the stability and the use of each shoe so we can tailor our recommendations so you can remain injury-free

Density (Durometer)

The Density of the shoe determines how firm the material under your foot is. After 10,000 video gait analysis we have found that a more firm material means a more stable structure when you are walking or running.

Stack Height (mm)

Using a caliper we measure the stack height to determine the amount of material underneath your foot. A higher stack height can lead to more instability depending the activity you are participating, which I something to be cautious of.

Weight (oz)

The weight of the shoe is less important than the first two boxes but still holds its significance. A lighter shoe can help lower fatigue for long runs and strenuous activities.
