Team Run Takes Over Groton Road Races

Team Run had another successful outing this past weekend, this time at the 23rd Annual Groton 5k & 10k Road Races. The headline was certainly Acton store employee Jeff Veiga winning both the 5k and the 10k, which took place just an hour apart! Jeff Veiga led Team Run with a surprise overall victory at stop #3 of the 2014 USATF-NE Grand Prix Series. Veiga’s efforts also helped Team Run finish 3rd in the Men’s Open team category, their best finish of the year. Team Run opened their 2014 season with performances at the Jones 10 Miler in Amherst, Frozen Shamrock 3 Miler in Haverhill, and the USATF New England Indoor Track Championships in Boston, MA. At the Races

Last weekend was a busy one for Marx Running owner Mark Coddaire as well as several of his employees. Saturday (June1) brought two local events — the Emerson Hospital 5k Run/Walk and the Bolton 5k Rally for Boston.
