Team Run had another successful outing this past weekend, this time at the 23rd Annual Groton 5k & 10k Road Races. The weekend of April 12th & 13th proved to be a profitable one for Team Run in terms of performances. Jeff Veiga led Team Run with a surprise overall victory at stop #3 of the 2014 USATF-NE Grand Prix Series. Veiga’s efforts also helped Team Run finish 3rd in the Men’s Open team category, their best finish of the year. Team Run opened their 2014 season with performances at the Jones 10 Miler in Amherst, Frozen Shamrock 3 Miler in Haverhill, and the USATF New England Indoor Track Championships in Boston, MA. The Team Run men raced to their best overall finish of the year at the Carver 5 Miler Grand Prix this past Saturday. They took the runner-up spot. Only the BAA could best Team Run’s efforts. At the Races

Last weekend was a busy one for Marx Running owner Mark Coddaire as well as several of his employees. Saturday (June1) brought two local events — the Emerson Hospital 5k Run/Walk and the Bolton 5k Rally for Boston. Reilly Leads Team Run Women to Another Title at New Bedford Half Marathon

Despite not feeling 100% in the days leading up to the New Bedford Half Marathon, Stephanie Reilly managed to pull out another win on stop number two of the USATF-NE Grand Prix Series. This time Reilly didn’t assume control of the race until less than a mile to go en route to running 1:15:54. She bested runner-up Erica Jesseman by just 15 seconds.
