Team Run opened their 2014 season with performances at the Jones 10 Miler in Amherst, Frozen Shamrock 3 Miler in Haverhill, and the USATF New England Indoor Track Championships in Boston, MA.

The majority traveled to Amherst, MA to compete in the first of the 2014 USATF-NE Grand Prix Road Race Series. The team was led by Marx Running Lowell store employee Peter Omae, who covered the hilly 10-mile course in a time of 55:28 (31st). He was followed by Steve O’Brien, who is fresh off a win at the 2014 Bill Rodgers/Theatre III 5k, in a time of 58:00 (65th). Bryant University grad Ben Coughlin crossed the line next in 58:12, good for 68th place. Team Run will come together for the next Grand Prix series event, the New Bedford Half Marathon, on March 16th.
