  1. Dear Marxs

A group of guys in the Acton area have started a weekend long run. We are currently about 6-7 strong (as far as email list is concerned) with 4 or so regular runners per weekend. We are looking to grow the group to at least 15 and thought you may be able to help us out… this is great way to help support running and the Acton community (we could even try to organize some of the runs around Marx itself (although our runs are a bit early for store hours.

Is there a way that you could spread the word. Interested parties should contact me at We are currently male dominant with an age range from 35-50=. Our runs have been 7.5-10 so far, but we will increase that and average pace has been about 8:45, but as the group grows we will look to split into a fast and a slow group after a few miles.

Any help you could provide in spreading the word is much appreciated…

  2. Update on William’s piece. The group he talked about in January has grown. We have 25 plus runners, men and women. We break off into at least two groups 9+/- mile pace and as fast as 7:45 pace. We usually have two or more choices for distance, around 4 miles and 7 +/- miles. Most weekends we head out with 6 to 8 runners, we would like to see this grow. More runners more options.
Anyone interested should get in touch with William or myself, Paul
