Fall News: AB Track, Baystate Apparel, and Free Shoes!

Acton Boxboro Track Project

Marx Running has played a key role in the campaign to build a new track facility at Acton Boxboro HS. The inaugural Seasons Half Marathon raised several thousand dollars towards the project, and we are currently gearing up for our big fall fundraiser: the Acton Turkey Trot. The Acton Turkey Trot will take place the day after Thanksgiving at 10 AM. Proceeds will go directly to the AB track project. We are hoping that the local community plays a big part in supporting this event. More information can be found at www.actonturkeytrot.com. Donations can be taken through the race registration web site, so if you’re in the area but cannot participate, please consider making a donation.

Baystate Apparel

We’ve just received a huge shipment of fall apparel from Saucony, and shortly we will be screening Baystate Marathon and Half Marathon logos onto select items. Be sure to check out our custom Baystate apparel at the Expo in the days leading up to the event. If you would like to pre-order custom apparel feel free to call 978-263-5510 or e-mail raceinfo@marxrunning.com and we can give you options on what we have available.

One Response to Fall News: AB Track, Baystate Apparel, and Free Shoes!

  1. All you have to do is text “running” to a short code? But what about all the people (like me) that don’t pay for short code texting? My free texting app does not allow shortcodes, nor do any others out there. Is there an alternative way to allow that segment of the population to enter, or is this contest exclusive to people who can afford to pay cell carriers for texting?
