Acton Turkey Trot to Aid AB Track Fund

At Marx Running, we have a vested interest in supporting and aiding the development of the running community within Acton and its surrounding towns. For one, more people running in our area means we can sell more shoes! But the other driver behind our involvement is simply that running is a huge part of our lives, and we want to share that passion with others. That is why we’ve been leading the way on raising money for a new track facility at AB High School. We want to support the youth running community as much as we can. We’ve seen some the the state’s top runners come out of the area and go on to do some great things. There’s nothing more rewarding for us.

And so we’re putting out money where our mouth is and donating $5,000 to the AB track fund. We’ve raised this money in conjunction with the Nagog Seasons Half Marathon and other community based road races. Our focus now is on the Acton Turkey Trot (the day after Thanksgiving) and getting a huge turnout for this event. Proceeds from this race will go towards the track fund, and so we’re encouraging all local residents to come out on November 29th and help get this new track one step closer to becoming a reality.
